On the performance front, all 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross models have a 169-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. In comparison, the 2022 Honda CR-V offers two powertrains: a turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine (190 hp) and a hybrid (212 hp). 

While the CR-V provides more power, the Corolla Cross is more maneuverable. It has a turning diameter as low as 35.4 feet, compared to 37.4 feet for the CR-V. Both vehicles offer a choice of either a front-wheel drive (FWD) or an all-wheel drive (AWD) system.
