You might not recognize the new Chevy Camaro
Many muscle car fans are still heartbroken over the loss of the Chevrolet Camaro. All we have left is the Ford Mustang and electric Dodge cars. But the Chevy Camaro won’t be gone forever, and rumors suggest it will return soon.
The Chevy Camaro is making a comeback
You aren’t alone if you were bummed about muscle cars such as the Chevy Camaro, Dodge Charger, and Challenger being discontinued or replaced by electric variants. Heck, the Camaro Bumble Bee’s favorite car to transform into!
But according to Car Scoops, the Camaro will make a triumphant return soon. However, it’s expected to have significant changes over the outgoing model.
Rumors claim that a sporty sedan will replace the iconic coupe. Going from two to four doors isn’t a big deal for dog owners and families that haul kids around. But I can imagine that this is upsetting to some folks.
This athletic sedan will fill the hole left by the discontinued Chevy Malibu. I can only imagine how it will look as an elongated muscle car.
Also, General Motors President, Mark Reuss, shared that the Camaro could return as an affordable EV. I feel like this is subject to change as interest in EVs is fading.
It seems impossible to build an affordable electric vehicle without the $7,500 federal tax credit to reduce the price. The Chevy Bolt will arrive first with a speculated starting price around $28,795.
I think the new Camaro could go hybrid in an effort to keep interest alive. As General Motors navigates around new tariffs, production of popular gas-powered vehicles is being increased in America.
