A Wisconsin man appears to be hellbent on getting his own Hellcat. And by any means necessary.

In October 2024, Myqwon Greer was involved in an attempt to steal a Dodge Durango Hellcat from a Beloit, Wisconsin dealership. Well, you know how the saying goes: If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.

On April 8th, 2025, Greer allegedly broke into a Janesville, Wisconsin dealership. He and his accomplices then used a Ford Explorer to smash through the showroom wall. He hurriedly tossed a stolen power drill and a handful of Coach purses that happened to be in the dealership into a limited edition Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Demon 170. Then he drove off.

Authorities say the heist did $8,000 worth of damage to the building and $10,000 in damage to the Explorer. The Demon 170, the final 1,000-horsepower edition of the Hellcat, had a $96,666 MSRP. But they are rare enough, dealers marked them all up. The dealership believed its 170 was worth $250,000.

Police arrested Greer in January 2026. They charged him with possession of a stolen vehicle, theft, and criminal damage to property. Police believe he is a professional, “involved in the sale and processing of stolen vehicles.” His other pending cases include drug trafficking.
