Two-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kyle Larson was one of the favorites at the 41st Annual Tulsa Shootout, but he left the event empty-handed. Six other drivers, however, did walk away with Golden Driller trophies at the premier event for Micro Sprints.

The best Kyle Larson could do was a fourth-place finish in the Winged Outlaw main event. His son, Owen Larson, matched him by finishing fourth in the Restricted A-Class feature.

In fairness, Kyle only competed in the one class in 2026 after racing in four divisions in 2025. Not that he didn’t battle for the win in the Winged Outlaw feature. He did. At one point, he moved up from his sixth starting position to duke it out with Daison Pursley, who ended up securing the big win. Steven Snyder Jr. and Jeffrey Newell finished in third and fourth, respectively.

In the 55-lap Non-Wing Outlaw main event, Jonathan Beason dominated the competition. He was trailed by Jeffrey Newell, Chris Andrews, and Kyle Spence. Daison Pursley finished in eighth.

13-year-old Cullen Hutchison won the Stock-Non-Wing feature after starting from the pole. Brock Berreth, Briggs Danner, and Ashton Torgerson followed him to the line.

Frank Flud took home the Winged A-Class title after the initial winner, Jett Yantis, was disqualified for an engine violation. Daison Pursley finished in second. Garrett Benson and Brecken Reese came in third and fourth, respectively.

In the Restricted ‘A’ feature, Braxon Vasconcellos took home the Golden Driller. Brexton Busch, the son of NASCAR driver Kyle Busch, finished 10th. Brycen Roush finished in second, followed by Chase DeMarco.

And in the Jr. Sprints feature, Jax Wittmer was the winner after leading the entire 20-lap race. Grayson Graham, Stetson Stroup, and Gage Pio rounded out the top four.
