Walmart thieves flee in Dodge Ram, lead cops on low speed chase to police station
I love “Wallie World” But this might be the most “Walmart” story ever.
Around 4:30 PM, employees at the Marion, Iowa Walmart suspected two shoppers were actually stealing items. They confronted Kimberly Isaacson (58) and Donall Diggins (53) who were “uncooperative” and fled. So they called the police.
When police arrived at the Walmart, employees described the thieves and explained they’d driven away in a 2009 Dodge Ram truck. Police were quickly able to find the truck and signaled it to pull over. But Kimberly Isaacson wasn’t having any of it. She just kept on trucking.
Isaacson wasn’t able to get the old truck to go fast enough to lose the police. But that didn’t stop her, she kept on driving away anyway.
After what Marion police described as a low speed chase, Isaacson decided she’d had it. She drove herself right to the Marion police station and parked in the lot.
Police arrested both Diggins and Isaacson. They also located stolen Walmart merchandise in the back seat of the truck. Diggins was charged with theft. Isaacson was charged with theft as well as eluding and interference with official acts.
