In fact, the Pacifica got its last redesign in 2021. It’s time for the mid-cycle refresh, and Stellantis is working on it. In fact, the updated van is in its testing phase.
However, it might have to go back to the drawing board because its new face and rear end didn’t help it in the snow. The new Pacifica was caught wearing camouflage while getting stuck in snow in the middle of Detroit traffic.
For some reason, the driver took it in a lane filled with a few inches of snow instead of sticking to the cleared portions of the highway. It’s unclear if this was an all-wheel drive model or not. Also, this may have been due to a driver error.
However, drivers could see this and worry that the Pacifica isn’t up for tackling winter conditions. It might need a suspension like the Toyota Sienna Woodland Edition.
