Emergency responders arrived at a fabric store in Pennsylvania to find multiple vehicles sticking out of a crumbling fabric store. A wreck involving a police car and a box truck caused the vehicles to spin out of control, striking the side of the building.

Box truck slams police car into Pennsylvania fabric store

You might not recognize the Lancaster Home and Fabric store in the 2800 block of Lincoln Highway East/Route 30 in East Lampeter Township.

It has been reduced to rubble after a wreck sent multiple vehicles flying through the wall. It all started when a box truck pulled out in front of a Pennsylvania State Police cruiser.

The police officer was unable to stop before hitting the truck. Force from the impact caused the truck and squad car to spin off the pavement. The vehicles slammed through the side of the store building.

According to WGAL, the wall started to cave in, and an employee was pinned behind the cash register. A witness shared that it looked like the police cruiser burst into a million pieces.

The truck driver and police officer were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. They have been released. But the passenger of the truck remains in critical condition.

The owner of the store, Lloyd Esh, shared that the area has been prone to accidents over the years. He has seen some scary events in traffic. However, he never expected to see a truck come through the wall.

Unfortunately, the store could remain closed for several weeks due to needing repairs. Also, I would like to know how fast the police officer was traveling!
