Travis Pastrana returns to the NASCAR Truck Series
There’s nothing like the smell of gas in the morning, especially on race day! The Truck Series season opener and NASCAR Cup Series Daytona 500 just got even more exciting with the addition of Travis Pastrana.
The X Games Start and Motorsports icon is making his return with Niece Motorsports at the Daytona International Speedway. Pastrana will pilot the Number 42 Brunt Workwear Chevrolet truck.
It’s his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race since 2021. He also has experience as a full-time competitor. He participated in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series in 2013 with Roush Fenway Racing.
According to NASCAR, four of Pastrana’s six Truck Series starts occurred at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. His best finish to date was during his attempt at the Daytona in 2023.
He drove the Number 41 Niece Chevrolet truck and landed in 13th place. However, rain cut the event short. Also, Pastrana finished in 11th place during his Series debut in the Daytona 500.
Eric Girouard, founder and CEO of Brunt Workwear, shares, “If something has wheels and an engine, chances are Travis drives it better than most. He’s a motor-and action-sports legend that embodies Brunt’s commitments to celebrating hard work and grit.”
The 2026 Truck Series opens during the Florida 250 on Friday, February 13, at 7:30 PM.
