Sadly, the world has lost one of its greatest car enthusiasts. Quentin Willson, celebrated Top Gear host and automotive journalist, is deeply missed. But there are thousands of vehicle photos, TV episodes, and articles to remember him by. Plus, he has quite the collection of cars

Remember Quentin Willson by his car collection

Our hearts go out to all those impacted by the death of Quentin Willson. He passed peacefully, surrounded by family members, after a battle with lung cancer.

Willson hosted Top Gear alongside Jeremy Clarkson from 1991 to 2001. Then he hosted Fifth Gear, Britain’s Worst Drivers, and The Car’s the Show. Also, he wrote many articles for The Mirror, The Sunday Mirror, and Classic Cars magazine.

He truly loved vehicles and got a traditional start in Britain. Wilson’s first vehicle is an exciting old beige-colored Mini Cooper. According to The Sun, he bought it for about 50 quid. He didn’t expect much from it and sold it for a profit.

Plus, Willson had an old Jaguar E-Type. Despite claiming to love it, he only kept it for about 10 years after restoring it. A former cohost, Jodie Kidd, didn’t speak for hours after learning he sold it.

Next, as an Electric Vehicle enthusiast, he was spotted with the Citroen C-Zero EV that was developed with Mitsubishi. Other EVs in his collection include the Nissan Leaf, Renault Zoe, Vauxhall Ampera, and Mitsubishi iMiev.

His practical family car was a 2015 Range Rover. Willson enjoyed it as it was comfortable for tall folks. Plus, it has space for the kids and dog with the capability to handle snow.

He was fond of convertibles, with a Ford Mustang. Wilson notes the  Bentley Supersports convertible as the best one ever made. Also, classics such as an old Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and three Daimler Darts complete his garage.
