It’s perfectly fine to see a modded Jeep Wrangler and think it doesn’t look that great. Jeeps are born to be customized in multiple ways, and there are different strokes for different folks.
However, the interior of one Wrangler was so ugly that thieves decided to abandon the SUV after they stole it.
Florida police officers found the stolen Wrangler and had no idea why thieves abandoned it at first. Then they opened the door to find a unique interior that could impact its value.
The seats, dash, pillars, and other features are covered with neon green, bright yellow, and red upholstery. It’s extremely vibrant with uneven stitching. Custom mods typically make a vehicle harder to sell, and this loud design probably made it too difficult for this Jeep to blend in.
According to Supercar Blondie, the Jeep is listed under theft recovery and is being auctioned off. It’s a highly desirable Rubicon 392 model with a HEMI V8 engine that cranks out 470 hp. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
It’s listed for sale at $49,500 on IAAI Auctions. Also, it has an estimated repair cost of $4,520 for a mechanical error. The new owner might want to fix the upholster as well.
New Wrangler Rubicon 392 models start at $82,495. So, this model with about 30,000 miles on the odometer could be a steal, based on whatever that mechanical issue is.
