Texas police find a dead body in taco truck

My heart goes out to the family and friends suffering the loss of a 40-year-old man in Houston, Texas. unfortunately, the Dad and owner of a family’s taco truck is a victim of murder.

Police officers shared that the family of the victim was worried one night after they didn’t hear from him. The man said he was wrapping up work and never returned home.

To the shock and horror of officers and his family, two men may have shot him. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds. According to KHOU, the shooting occurred about 11:30 PM on West Dyna Drive.

The motive for the shooting is currently still unclear. Investigators believe it could be related to a robbery. They have been reviewing footage from surveillance cameras at nearby businesses.

Lieutenant A. Khan explains that the Houston Police Department has investigators looking into two potential suspects. who were recorded as they left the scene.

He mentioned that there were two Hispanic males wearing ski masks. They left the scene in a white sedan. Also, police officers encourage anyone with related information to reach out to the HPD Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers. Callers can remain anonymous.

It sounds normal to tow the taco truck as evidence. But it’s unlikely that it will be reopened soon, as it needs to be cleaned. Also, it could be a biohazard. Health officials could take time to evaluate its condition.
