Sheriff Grady Judd of Polk County, Florida, posts some sparkling Florida Man gems he calls his “Morning Briefing.” In this one, he describes a random call his department got from a Tesla driver.

Florida Man decides a 36-degree night is the perfect time for a TikTok challenge

The Tesla driver was on Broken Arrow Trail, south of Lakeland, when he came upon an unexpected sight. A guy walking on the side of the road, wearing nothing.

Graciously, Sheriff Judd explains that one can be “naked and still wearing socks.” But Florida Man was decidedly “buck-naked.” He wore nary a scrap, and didn’t even have a cell phone on him.

Police asked what the heck he was doing

He responded that a TikTok challenge gripped him and took him out for the chilly walk.

The Florida officers asked him if he was cold. “Not a bit,” he replied.

They asked for his name, which he provided. A fake one, anyway. The address he rattled off wasn’t right, either. Oops, there’s another charge on top of his “indecent exposure” win.

Police arrested him for “obvious violations of the law.”

According to 2025 Florida statutes, “being naked in public in a vulgar or indecent manner” is a first-degree misdemeanor. Convicted individuals might serve up to a year in prison and/or pay up to a $1,000 fine.
