One man in Tennessee decided to show the cops how he really feels. But he didn’t do it in the smartest way. After taking a bat to a police SUV and peeing on it, he tried to get away. However, one mistake led authorities directly to him.

Tennessee man takes a bat to a police SUV and pees on it

A Tennessee man didn’t hesitate to show police officers what he thinks of them. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the suspect, identified as 24-year-old Jaylen Sulton, attacked a cruiser.

The incident occurred right outside of the Central Precinct in the 600 block of Korean Veterans Boulevard. In my humble opinion, committing crimes at a police station really doesn’t help your chances of getting away.

Anyways, Sulton got out of his Jeep Compass and approached a police SUV with a bat. He smashed the front and back passenger windows. Then he urinated on it. After pulling up his pants, he drove the Jeep Compass away.

According to WKRN, the indictment occurred on November 22nd, but Sulton wasn’t apprehended until December 3, 2025. He probably thought he got away with damaging the Ford Explorer inceptor.

Unfortunately, Sulton refused to be interviewed after being arrested. So, unfortunately, I’ll never learn what his motivation was. Also, he was charged with felony vandalism and remains in jail on a $20,000 bond.

No further information was released. If I had to guess, he was caught on camera. Or maybe he jumped into his Jeep and pulled away as police officers ran outside to stop his vandalism.
