You can always count on a Florida man to be wild. A garbage truck driver was just trying to help a friend by suggesting that he go home. But this friend was intoxicated and angry about it. So, he chased the truck as it drove away and fired his gun multiple times, injuring two men.

Florida man drunkenly shoots at garbage truck

A garbage truck driver ran into a friend at Zephyrphills Wawa gas station around 5:30 am. He suggested that his friend should go home due to being intoxicated, and an argument broke out.

The driver got in his garbage truck to drive away, but the drunk man followed him in a GMC Yukon. According to Fox 13 News, the SUV driver pulled out a handgun and fired multiple shots while chasing the truck through the city.

Then the Yukon rammed into the back of the truck, near Dairy Road. The impact caused the passenger door to fly open, and the driver’s coworker was ejected. Both of the workers were shot, and the drunk man left the scene in his damaged SUV.

Police officers shared that surveillance footage from businesses documented the erratic behavior. The shooter has been identified as Quison De’Shawn Croson. He’s a confirmed convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition.

Croson was located by police officers a few hours later in Hillsborough County. He was arrested for two counts of attempted homicide and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The garbage truck driver and his coworker were treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
