Michigan Sheriff correctly claims the Ram Bucking HEMI was never stolen
This feels like a modern day western even though the incident occurred in the North East. I can just hear the sound of boots and spurs striking the wooden saloon floor as Sheriff confronts Ram. While correctly serving justice, he alleges the Bucking HEMI V8 has been under Ram’s nose the whole time.
Michigan Sheriff claims Bucking HEMI V8 was never stolen
First of all, what is the Ram Bucking HEMI V8? It’s a mechanical bull that wears a style similar to the HEMI V8 engine. A giant Ram’s head completes the ride’s look.
It was at Roadkill Nights in Detroit, Michigan as a popular attraction and ride for guests. It represents the brand’s return to V8-powered Ram 1500 models with the ‘Symbol of Protest’ badge.
According to Detroit News, the $34,000 mechanical bull or Ram engine ride went missing during the teardown at the end of the festival. Stellantis staff made calls to employees to ensure no one from the company took it.
Then it was time to call the police. Ram spokesman Nick Cappa and other representatives immediately took to social media, calling for anyone with information to come forward.
But the attraction has suddenly repeared. It’s on the way home after being found. Plus, Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard is correct in alleging that the Bucking HEMI was never stolen.
He shared that it’s very frustrating and a tremendous waste of valuable investigative time. It turns out, one of the show’s contractors took it by accident. They realized the mistake after media attention brought it to their attention.
Nick Cappa and Ram thank everyone who helped bring the Ram Bucking HEMI home. It’s extremely grateful for the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office’s assistance in the matter.
