Georgia police arrest senior couple after finding a dead body in their truck

Your sweet little Grand Ma and Grand Pa might have sinister secrets. Police officers in Georgia were shocked when they found a dead body in a Ford truck that belonged to an elderly couple.

74-year-old Gary Fowler and 73-year-old Mary Fowler of Chatsworth have some explaining to do. According to CBS News, the body of 51-year-old Travis Silvers was found in their truck. His body was wrapped in a comforter on the passenger side of the truck, roughly 20 years ago.

It was parked in a Wendy’s parking lot at the time. Police officers investigated the truck after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle.

Silvers was discovered with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. However, there were no signs of a close gunshot wound in the truck. There wasn’t any bullet damage to the truck or bullet residue.

However, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation didn’t release his cause of death. Also, the cops didn’t find any weapons in the truck. It seems like the truck was left in a public location on purpose. Why would they want the body to be found?

Gary and Mary have been booked into the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office Jail. Reportedly, no bail has been set. Officers haven’t released how they are linked to the case. There is currently an active and ongoing investigation into the case.
