Rolls-Royce driver gets busted for DUI with a spider monkey and marijuana in his car

California police officers never expected to find a spider monkey with tons of marijuana during a routine traffic stop, but they were in for a surprise.

27-year-old Ali Mushed Adel Mohammed was pulled over for speeding in his 2022 Rolls-Royce Ghost on SR-99.

When police officers approached the vehicle, they found a one-month-old spider monkey clinging to Mohammed. It looked pretty cute in a pink onesie.

Mohammed was found to be driving under the influence, creating a dangerous experience for the baby primate. It wasn’t in a car seat or using a seatbelt and could have been killed in a wreck.

To make matters worse, officers found a dealer’s amount of weed for the monkey. They also found several phones and a plastic bag filled with cash. Was it a drug dealer in training?!Owning a spiker monkey in California is illegal, you can’t possess them. It’s on the endangered species list.

The infant monkey was taken to the Madera Animal Shelter. The shelter didn’t have what the monkey needed for feeding, so it was given bananas, which the monkey happily fed himself with spoons.

Then the baby monkey was taken into custody by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. They will transport him to the Oakland Zoo, 150 miles northwest of Madera.

According to the NY Post, Mohamed was booked into Madera County Jail on several charges such as DUI and possession of an exotic animal.
