Get ready to hear engines roar, watch street-legal drag racing, and ride along through racing and drifting courses at Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge.
The 10th edition of this festival takes place on Saturday, August 9, in downtown Pontiac, Michigan. To celebrate a decade of muscle car fun, Dodge is bringing the six-pack-fueled heat.
Events include the public debut of the Ram 1500 NASCAR concept truck and next-generation Dodge Charger muscle cars. Other Ram builds will debut as well.
NHRA stars Matt Hagen and Leah Pruett will be doing burnouts in 12,000 hp drag cars. Mopar owner/fan and rock guitarist Kenny Wat Shepard will be performing. Other celebrity appearances include Roadkill’s David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan.
According to Dodge, street-legal drag racing will occur on a pristine section of Woodward Avenue by Pike Street. The event includes a walkable pit area so you can check out the cars.
Hop in a Charger to go for thrill rides and experience drifting. You can also enjoy the Raminator Monster Truck and the Bucking HEMI Experience.
Other events include a classic car show, silent auction, Challenger SRT Demon drag race simulators, exhibition runs, performance part showcases, food trucks, vendors, and more celebrity guests.
The lineup of activities takes place from 10 AM to 9 PM. General admission tickets start at $25. The event is free for children under 12 and Stellantis employees.
