Another Stellantis recall: 164,000 Jeep SUVs are falling apart
Not to throw any shade around, but usually Ford is the king of recalls. However, Stellantis has recently had its fair share of problems with Jeep SUVs. This time, about 164,000 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models have detaching trim pieces.
164,000 Jeep SUVs have detaching door trim pieces
Imagine enjoying your luxury SUV only to be shocked as the door trim pieces suddenly fall off. I would be pretty upset after paying more for high-end materials and a quality build.
This situation could become a real nightmare for roughly 164,000 Jeep SUV owners as Stellantis rolls out another recall.
The recall includes Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models built between 2022 and 2025. They are struggling against detaching trim pieces on the outside of the driver and passenger side doors.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), they may have been improperly installed during the manufacturing process. This problem increases the risk of accidents and injuries as the debris can create road hazards.
If your Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer is involved, you will need to visit your local dealership. Technicians will inspect and replace the door trim if necessary at no cost to owners.
Stellantis will notify owners of Jeep SUVs at risk via mail by October 21, 2025. You can contact Fiat Chrysler Auto or Stellantis customer service at 1-800-853-1403. The number for this recall is 77C.
The ability to look up your vehicle identification number (VIN) on the NHTSA recall lookup tool will become available on September 18, 2025.
