Shhh, listen closely. Do you hear a prehistoric roar? That’s from the Ram 1500 TRX because this dinosaur of a truck is officially returning from the grave. Tell the RHO to move over because it’s all about that roaring HEMI.

The Ram 1500 TRX enters production soon

Some people mourned the loss of the Ram 1500 TRX when the HEMI V8 engine was discontinued. Others didn’t believe that the gas guzzler would be gone for long, and they’re right.

The TRX is coming soon. According to Mopar Insiders, this giant aggressive truck is scheduled to enter production in January 2026. That means you could give one to your Valentine!

Plus, it’s expected to bring the heat as the first vehicle to debut under the relaunched Street and Racing Technology Division (SRT). Regular Ram 1500 trucks with the 5.7-liter V8 could hit dealerships as early as next month.

But will the TRX arrive with the same old 6.2-liter V8 HEMI HELLCAT that cranks out 702 hp? Technically, the Ford F-150 Raptor R pumps out 720 hp.

So, the HEMI needs a boost to catch up. I wonder if it will gain other upgrades to become lighter or more efficient. But those who can afford a Ram 1500 TRX probably don’t care that it only gets an EPA-estimated 13 mpg.

The Ram 1500 TRX will arrive with the same tech and style that the RHO model has. But of course it’s safe to expect exclusive decals, accent stitching, and packages. This is only one of the exciting things Ram has in the works.
