Pricing for the 2026 Hyundai Palisade is only shocking at first glance
I’ll admit that when I first saw prices for the 2026 Hyundai Palisade, I was shocked. I almost spit out my coffee. But after comparing it to rival SUVs, the price isn’t that bad. In fact, it might be considered a bargain.
How much does the 2026 Hyundai Palisade cost?
Drum roll, please! The 2026 Hyundai Palisade has a starting MSRP of $38,935. This seems pretty darn expensive, at first. Until you look at competitors.
First of all, the 2025 Palisade has an MSRP of $37,200, and it’s the outgoing model. The 2026 Palisade has more space, a new exterior design, a refreshed interior, and advanced tech. It only costs about $1,735 more than the old model.
The 2025 Kia Telluride starts at $36,390, and the Palisade is basically a luxury Telluride. Plus, the 2026 Telluride is being redesigned, so pricing hasn’t been released.
Then check out the 2025 Ford Explorer. It has an MSRP of $39,755. While I enjoy the Explorer, the Palisade feels like it’s in a different league by being more upscale and having more cargo space. Also, the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander starts at $40,860.
According to Guru Focus, the Palisade has a standard 3.5-liter V6 engine with 287 hp. You can upgrade to the hybrid engine for a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with two electric motors to generate 329 hp.
The 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid has an MSRP of $43,660 and gets an EPA-estimated 34 mpg. It has a range of 619 miles.
While the Palisade seems expensive at first, it’s more affordable than some rivals and includes an abundance of standard features to provide more value.
