Forget the ball drop, new Ram trucks just landed. These pickups pack a powerful punch. One has diesel muscle for an incredible towing figure. However, the other dunks on the Ford F-150 Raptor R with more horsepower. 

New Ram trucks to get excited about 

First of all, welcome the Ram 1500 TRX back to the table. The 2027 Ram 1500 SRT TRX is the most powerful production street legal gas half-ton pickup truck EVER. 

The legendary supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine has returned to provide 777 hp and 680 lb-ft of torque. According to Stellantis, it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds. 

Meanwhile the Ford F-150 Raptor R maxes out at 720 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.6 seconds. 

It rides on 35-inch tires with an independent front suspension and active performance dampening. The rear features a Dana 60 axle with full floating axle shafts and a rear electronic locking differential. 

Things like Dual Electronic Proportional Valves with nitrogen-charged remote reservoirs only scratch the surface of this build. It starts at $99,995 and will arrive during the second half of 2026. 

Next up is the 2027 Ram Power Wagon! It has an available 6.7-liter Cummins High Output (HO) turbo diesel inline-six engine with 430 hp and 1,075 lb-ft torque. 

It has the best in class torque while maintaining its title as the most off-road-capable full-size truck. This beast can tow nearly 20,000 lbs and carry a payload of close to 3,000 lbs. 

The 31-gallon fuel tank provides about 600 miles of range. It rides on 20-inch satin black wheels wrapped in 34-inch all-terrain tires. 

Plus, it has solid front and rear axles and 13.2-inches of ground clearance. The Power Wagon Cummins starts at $88,470 and will arrive during the second half of 2026.
