The Hartford, Connecticut Police Department brought the long arm of the law down on alleged criminals. 33-year-old Sanl Mehmedovice and 32-year-old Klajdi Avdiaj may face prison time.
After Vice and Narcotics United executed five search and seizure warrants, they discovered an insane amount of contraband along with a Ram truck. Law enforcement seized 10 guns, including assault rifles, 220 grams of cocaine, $166,000, and a 2018 Ram 1500.
According to Fox 61, Mehmedovic was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of a high-capacity magazine, and possession of an assault rifle. Avdiaj was charged with possession of narcotics and the sale of narcotics.
Hartford police officers made the arrests with the help of the FBI task force, Newington Police Department, and Wethersfield Police Department.
The teams worked together on this ongoing investigation. Allegedly, it involves several individuals selling narcotics in the city of Hartford.
It’s unclear how many others might be involved with the two suspects. But they were operating across multiple locations. Also, I have to point out that most sources call their truck a ‘Dodge Ram’.
That’s incorrect and I refuse to let it go. The trucks stopped being called ‘Dodge Ram’ models in 2009. Now it’s just the Ram 1500 and Ram is a standalone truck brand and Dodge focuses on cars and SUVs.
