It looks like a New Mexico couple was trying to liven up their relationship. Their night ended up with an extra hot “spice level.” But I doubt being run off the road during a police chase was what they had in mind.

This might be the most dangerous driving couple since the Florida woman who crashed her Thunderbird because she was shaving…down there.

Du Huyah (49) and Heather Martinez (45) walked into Love Etc. in Santa Fe on Wednesday, January 28th. They filled a basket with “merchandise.” Then they took their sex toys to the counter.

Huyah scooped up the goodies and made for the door. Employees tried to stop him. Huyah allegedly hit one employee in the back multiple times, then Huyah drew a gun. Outside, Huyah jumped into a car that Martinez was driving.

Escaping the New Mexico sex toy store

A man from a nearby store approached the couple to confront them. After a brief struggle, the smutty Bonnie and Clyde backed over the man and drove away, dragging him and injuring him.

The Santa Fe Police Department spotted the couple in their red Ford wagon just before 6 p.m. that evening. Officers initiated a traffic stop, but Huyah sped away. When Huyah turned onto a rural road, police completed a PIT maneuver; an officer slammed into a rear corner of the car to spin the suspects off the road.  Then they blocked the car in and arrested both occupants. According to the SF PD, Mr. Huyah is charged with:

  • Battery
  • Aggravated Fleeing A Law Enforcement Officer
  • Larceny
  • Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon (2 Counts)

Meanwhile, Ms. Martinez is charged with:

  • Aggravated Battery (Deadly Weapon)
  • Larceny

At least the couple got some free handcuffs out of the ordeal.
