Unfortunately, the case of a missing woman in Massachusetts took a dark turn. Instead of being found alive, police officers discovered the woman’s body in her SUV. She was last seen on Halloween, and her vehicle was found in an odd location.

Massachusetts police find the body of a missing woman in her SUV

Our deepest condolences go out to the friends and family members of 30-year-old Joanna Brown. She was last seen on Halloween. Brown was the Bean Counter Bakery on Grove Street, where she was employed.

Then she didn’t show up for her shift the next day. This was extremely unusual for her. Next, she was reported missing by her family on Sunday. Unfortunately, police officers in Worcester County found her SUV with her body inside.

The grey Mitsubishi Outlander was left in a parking lot on Mount Vernon Street at Green Hill Towers. It’s odd that it was left at a low-income apartment complex for seniors.

However, according to investigators, officers don’t have many leads. Information about the circumstances of Brown’s death hasn’t been released.

However, her Mitsubishi Outlander was collected as evidence. Before the SUV was taken from the scene, it was covered by a white tent and blocked off by crime scene tape for hours.

There’s an ongoing investigation into the matter. Members of the Worcester District Attorney’s Office and Worcester Police Detective Bureau are working on the case.

Maybe you can help. Anyone with information related to her death is asked to contact the Detective Bureau at 508-799-8651. You can also text TIPWPD to CRIMES (274637) to leave an anonymous tip.
