‘They Don’t Care’ Philadelphia Police Investigate 3 Murders Linked to Tow Truck Company

Police investigate three murders from one tow truck company
Police officers in Philadelphia urge anyone with related information to come forward. Three people employed by the 448 Towing and Recovery company are victims of murder.
Why are these drivers with the tow truck company targets? Officers shared that it could be over territory claims in the city.
Most recently, a Honda Accord traversed up Knorr Street and Bustleton Avenue. Then Aaron Whitfield was in his rig as shooters fired multiple shots.
According to 6 ABC, a blue Jeep Cherokee is linked to the shooting death of Davide Garcia-Morales. He was shot in his tow truck in the 4200 block of Torresdal Avenue. Also, Aaron Smith-Sim was shot on Hicks Street.
The rotational tow system in Philadelphia could be to blame. Police dispatch complaints to accidents, but sometimes drivers get around the law by skipping the rotation to arrive at accidents before the police.
The shootings could also be related to a business dispute. Reportedly, the towing industry has a history of violence and employees with lengthy criminal histories. Families are begging for answers.
