Did you know that the Mary Kay Pink Cadillac still exists? Plus, the SUV looks better than ever. But it just got a significant change. This advanced update might change how motivated associates are to earn it.

The Mary Kay Pink Cadillac goes electric

The Mary Kay Pink Cadillac is an unmatched status symbol of success among beauty sales. Mary Kay Ash, the founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics, first started using a pink Cadillac as a sales incentive in 1969.

It’s painted in a shade of Mary Kay Pink Pearl to match her signature makeup. However, it’s no longer gas-powered. According to Mary Kay, it’s going electric.

The pink Cadillac OPTIQ or ‘Career Car’ is an electric SUV that’s seen as a massive step forward for the brand’s commitment to innovation, environmental responsibility, and meeting the expectations of the next generation of both Mary Kay independent sales force members and their customers.

The OPTIQ provides a range of up to 302 miles on a single charge. This allows drivers to cover a lot of ground. However, I’m wondering if it comes with an at-home charging station. That would make life much easier for associates.

It looks great with black accents and an upscale interior. It provides 26 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row and up to 57 cubic feet overall. That’s a solid amount of room for beauty products.

But not all Mary Kay Career Cars are Cadillac models. The fleet of roughly 3,600 vehicles includes General Motors options like the Chevrolet Trax and Equinox. Only 1,000 Cadillac models are reserved for the top Independent Sales Directors.
