A Louisiana man caused a hit-and-run accident and fled the scene in his truck. However, he later posted about the incident online to brag about intentionally striking the police officer on a motorcycle. This led officers right to him!
Louisiana man brags about hitting a motorcycle cop with his truck
41-year-old Gad Black seemingly caused a hit-and-run accident with his Ford F-150. He hit a police officer on a motorcycle and dragged the man over 500 feet.
Sargent Caleb Eisworth suffered critical injuries, including two broken legs and a broken arm. He’s currently improving in the hospital but remains in critical condition.
Investigators quickly learned that the incident was no accident. Black bragged about intentionally striking the officer on Facebook.
He said, “Just stretched one on Joor Rd,” which includes the location of the incident. Black also posted that someone should check him out on Joor Road.
According to Law and Crime, Black was spotted nearby and quickly apprehended despite resisting arrest. He was tased and admitted to following the officer with his truck before hitting him on purpose.
Plus, he shared his deep-rooted hate of law enforcement officers. Black has a history of aggravated assault against officers.
Black’s girlfriend reportedly called 911 and described the truck but then said she didn’t need further assistance. She disconnected the call when asked for her location.
Police officers later found Black’s Ford F-150 parked at her home. She was arrested for obstruction of justice. Black was charged with first-degree murder of a police officer, hate crimes, and resisting an officer.
