It was about 3 p.m. on December 7th in Lakeland, Florida when a Lyft driver picked up a 48-year-old passenger. The ride was cut short, though, when the passenger moved from the Lyft vehicle to a squad car.

Suspect says he “got a little naked” in the Lyft after being overcome with “a feeling”

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office posted the incident on its social media, but it seems to have been removed. The Miami Herald picked up the story, explaining the details of the post.

Lakeland is about 35 miles northeast of Tampa. Apparently, the Lyft driver heard something odd coming from the rear cabin area. When he turned around, the driver was shocked to find the male passenger had removed all of his clothes. All of them.

The driver told authorities that he demanded the passenger stop what he was doing. The driver promptly called the company. From there, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office heard from Lyft that one of its drivers was extremely uncomfortable with their passenger.

About 10 miles after picking up Florida Man, police met the Lyft driver in Auburndale and made the arrest. The passenger told police he got “a little naked” after being overcome with “a feeling.” According to the source, authorities charged him with charged with unlawful exposure of sexual organs.

After reading the few details of this incident, I only have more questions…but I’m not sure I care to know the answers, you know?
