Kevin Hart’s One-of-a-Kind Custom Retro-Styled Ford Bronco Is Headed to Auction, With No Reserve
Comedian and actor Kevin Hart customized a 2024 Ford Bronco to resemble the SUVs of the 1960s and 70s. It is now going up for auction this month at Barrett-Jackson in Arizona. Best of all, Hart’s unique restomod is being auctioned without reserve.
Unlike most restomods, Kevin Hart decided to flip the script. He took a new vehicle and made it look like an older version. Of course, that meant he got to keep all of the 21st-century tech in what looks like a brand-new decades-old SUV.
The custom Ford Bronco has a 2.7-liter V-6 engine that cranks out 330 horsepower, and a 10-speed automatic transmission that transfers that power to all four wheels.
According to the Bronco’s listing on Barrett-Jackson’s website, Kevin Hart’s 2024 custom Ford Bronco also comes with a Roush intake and exhaust, Fox Factory Racing suspension, and Kenwood audio.
“The exterior is finished in Triple Back with matte black trim,” the listing continues. “The interior is trimmed in hand-stitched Blackrock leather and includes a Kenwood audio system, power windows, and modern safety systems, including anti-lock brakes, side-impact beams, crumple zones, and six airbags. This Bronco rides on BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.”
Kevin Hart is a big fan of customizing Ford Broncos
This isn’t the first customized Ford Bronco that Kevin Hart has had in his collection, and then sold. In 2021, the comedian sold his custom 1977 Ford Bronco during Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas auction.
That Ford Bronco had much more power. It was fitted with a 5.0-liter fuel-injected 302-cubic-inch V-8 engine with a GT40 upper and lower intake manifold. The custom SUV also boasted a three-speed automatic transmission, a Dana twin-stick transfer case, a Crane electronic ignition, an Ardent Performance custom exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers, and 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires. It was also featured on Jay Leno’s Garage.
