Jeep is advertising the 2026 Grand Wagoneer with a $63,200 MSRP. That’s a whopping $21,745 less than the same model cost in 2025. But this is less a huge discount and more a shift in model names. And it may actually camouflage a bit of a price increase.
In 2022, Stellantis launched a full-size SUV. The three trims of the “Wagoneer” competed with the Chevrolet Blazer and Ford Expedition. By 2025, that SUV started at $59,000. The three trim levels of the “Grand Wagoneer” offered luxury features to compete with the Lincoln Navigator and Chevrolet Escalade. By 2025, the luxury SUV started at $84,945. Both SUVs resurrected old Jeep SUV model names, but neither had any Jeep badges.
The result was such a confusing lineup, I published a table to keep the models straight.
Big changes coming to the Jeep Grand Wagoneer’s 2026 price
Stellantis appears to be doing an about-face to simplify the Wagoneer line. There will be no “Wagoneer” for the 2026 model year. Instead, Stellantis will offer a “Jeep Grand Wagoneer” that starts at $63,200. If you want more luxurious features, you can opt for trim levels with familiar names, shared across Jeep’s lineup. Those include the Limited Altitude, Upland, Limited Reserve, Summit Obsidian, and Summit Reserve.
Even though the Grand Wagoneer is an internal combustion vehicle, it will get a major visual refresh to more closely match the style of the “Wagoneer S” EV. It will also have “Jeep” badges. You may have noticed that the 2026 Jeep Grand Wagon is cheaper than the 2025 Grand Wagoneer, but it still starts at $4,000 more than the entry-level Wagoneer it replaces. That’s about in-line with a standard price hike for a fully redesigned SUV. You can see the changes to the 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer for yourself in the video embedded below:
