‘Armed and Dangerous’ Georgia Inmate Missing After Stealing 2 SUVs
I guess the Florida man has the day off because a Georgia man is in the spotlight for being wild today. An inmate managed to escape in Atlanta and is still at large. Police warn residents that he’s armed and dangerous after stealing two SUVs.

If you spot Timothy Shane, contact local authorities. This man is a Rockdale County Inmate who’s on the lam after escaping from police. Plus, he’s armed and dangerous.
Shane was being taken to Grady Memorial Hospital to be checked out after attempting suicide. But he managed to escape from deputy custody around 1:30 AM.
He stole an SUV that was parked close by and crashed it. Shane ran away on foot, and then the SUV’s owner shared that his handgun was in the vehicle when it was taken. An ambulance was on scene when the SUV was totalled on Peach Street, but Shane wasn’t seen.
According to Atlanta News First, Shane may have stolen a Pontiac Grand Prix near Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Reportedly, he removed its tags. He was last seen driving on SR 139 in Rockdale County heading to Henry County.
Shane is a white man with a buzz cut. He’s 5’9” and may have ditched his blue hospital gown for a red hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. But he doesn’t have shoes.
Lieutenant Billy Burrell with the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office shared that they won’t stop searching. This is only making things worse for his family and friends. They ask Shane to contact the sheriff’s office and turn himself in.
Shane has a history of fleeing with felony drug and weapons charges. Plus, he has been charged with aggravated assault.
