You might want to avoid a popular gas station in Minnesota for a while. It is coming under fire as ICE agents were kicked out of the convenience store. Now people are saying that the business should face a boycott for denying service.

Minnesota gas station denies service to ICE agents

The Speedway gas station on Portland Avenue in Minnesota has found itself in a storm of trouble. ICE agents were denied service and kicked out of the convenience store.

As they walked back to their SUV, they were followed by another man, who works at the business. He shared that he told the agents to leave because “We don’t support ICE and nobody does here.”

The agents aren’t allowed service at that location. While federal agents are legally allowed to be in public spaces, it’s not illegal for businesses to deny service to them.

Drivers and residents are outraged by this action. Also, tensions rise at other places in the city. As federal officers exit their Dodge Durango SUVs to simply take bathroom breaks, they’re spat on and harassed. In some cases, the law enforcement vehicles are blocked from leaving.

According to Newsweek, people are calling for a boycott of the business. One user comments, “I smell a boycott incoming,” and another shares, “Put them out of business.”

Conservative podcaster Benny Johnson claims the actions of the employees are “Disgraceful. This needs to be addressed and fixed immediately.”

As protestors and agents, class, unsafe conditions are being created. Federal officers are taking crowd control measures to disperse hostile crowds. Tensions are rising as Trump threatens to institute the insurrection act.
