Well, this traffic stop took a bizarre turn, even by Florida standards. Polk County sheriff’s deputies noticed a car parked at a construction site. When they approached, they found 39-year-old Matthew Zaccarino was not dressed in the most “safe for work” outfit.
First, he was wearing a red lace bra with prosthetic silicone breasts. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said that was not the half of it. “Then, we notice he is wearing a G-string, showing off the boys. You know what I mean?”
Interestingly, police did not charge Zaccarino with public indecency. His outfit appears to have left just enough to the imagination to remain legal.
Deputies find a firearm during the encounter
That said, Zaccarino was trespassing. When deputies questioned him, he said he was on his way to a costume party. When they asked where the party was, he stopped talking. When deputies searched Zaccarino, they found a firearm hidden beneath his prosthetic breasts.
“Can you imagine?” Judd said. “He’s mad at us for trying to find out why he’s wearing lace bras with guns and G-strings or G-somethings. It was ugly. It was so ugly.”
Police charged Zaccarino with armed trespassing with a firearm, loitering or prowling, and resisting an officer without violence.
