I guess your best excuse is always worth a try. A Florida man was pulled over by the FHP for speeding. Instead of playing it cool in front of his female passenger, he confided that he “had to use the bathroom.” The police officers called his story a load of crap for several reasons.

First of all, he’d passed several gas stations while speeding, but hadn’t stopped. So was it really an emergency?

Secondly, he got pinched while choosing to drive around without a license at 3 a.m. on a Sunday. Not good looks.

Finally, officers had watched him line his Toyota Camry up with a motorcycle at a stoplight. When the light turned green, the motorcycle hit 140 mph. Our king of the porcelain throne hit 124 mph.

The police arrested 24-year-old David Stone. He now faces charges for driving without a license, excessive speed, and racing. Any street-racing dreams he had are circling the drain because his Camry’s impounded, too.

Lt. Greg Bueno of the Florida Highway Patrol said, “The Camry driver did not have a license. That’s red flag number one. Number two, this is all happening at three in the morning.” He concluded, “Horrible decisions all over the place.” He’s certainly not a fan of wiping the slate clean here.

The motorcyclist seems to have squeezed out an escape. But the police aren’t calling it a clean getaway and ask anyone with information to help them flush out the perp.
