There are many things that you can call Ferrari, but sorry isn’t one of them. Once someone is put on the blacklist, they can no longer purchase new sports cars or supercars from the brand. Lindsey Lohan was banned years ago, but the automaker isn’t in the business of forgiveness.

Lindsey Lohan is still banned by Ferrari

If you were alive in the mid-2000s, then you probably heard a little celebrity gossip about Lindsey Lohan struggling against drug and alcohol addictions.

Ferrari certainly took notice and banned her from buying new cars. The automaker’s blacklist contains a long list of celebrities that are banned for various reasons, no matter how famous they are.

In Lohan’s case, the Italian sports car brand doesn’t want to risk having a negative association. According to Union Rayo, the brand seeks to protect its legacy by avoiding negative publicity.

But Lohan has worked extremely hard to turn her life around. She’s celebrating 10 years of sobriety while embracing motherhood and reviving her career.

Her $553,000 car collection features notable brands such as Maserati, Mercedes, Audi, and Porsche. It seems like Ferrari could benefit from Lohan’s success story. But the automaker is staying firm by upholding its blacklist.

Other blacklisted celebrities include Nicolas Cage, Justin Bieber, 50 Cent, Kim Kardashian, Deadmau5, Chris Harris, Floyd Mayweather, Blac Chyna, Tyga, and Peston Heen.

There are certain rules that the automaker needs celebrities to follow:

  • No customization of the car in an eye-catching way or contrary to the original design, including paint, shape, or extravagant features.
  • No selling a model right after buying it, as it could seem like the car lost value.
  • No selling it for a cheaper price to avoid impacting the vehicle’s prestige and exclusivity.
  • No abandoning the car or leaving it in bad conditions.
  • Do not publicly criticize the brand or its models.
  • Do not drive in a dangerous way, provoke accidents, or in any way be associated with dangerous behavior while driving.

Sorry, Lindsey Lohan. When she was arrested in 2007 for drunkenly losing control of her Mercedes-Benz, then in 2012, she left the scene of an accident while obstructing an officer, and she got another DUI in 2013. Ferrari caught wind of these accidents and has no remorse.
