Michigan man flips SUV while running from the cops

Police officers received a call around 3 am regarding a dispute between neighbors. One homeowner claimed the other was causing a disturbance.

The suspense previously interacted with the police due to having outstanding felony warrants, so he tried to take off when the Michigan man saw a deputy approaching the scene.

He was driving a GMC Yukon on Joy Boulevard in Harrison township when police officers tried to pull him over. But he quickly speed off.

According to Fox 2 Detroit, he briefly lost control of the SUV and went into a ditch. But the suspect managed to regaincontrol and reentered the road, driving in the opposite direction.

The police actually lost sight of the man until they happened to chrome across the GMC Yukon flipped upside down. It landed in someone’s yard and smoke was rising from the engine.

Then the fire department transported the suspect to a local hospital to treat his injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident.

As the police investigation is ongoing, the name of the driver and his condition have not been released. I can’t wait to see if his blood alcohol limit (BAC) was above the legal limit of 0.08%.

Police officers didn’t share what the outstanding felony warrants were for. However, running from the police probably made things much worse.

Also, it’s safe to assume that the GMC Yukon was towed away without catching on fire. If it went up in flames then it would definitely be included in our sources.
