Hundreds of Drivers Weigh in on Which Year Corvette Is Their Favorite
Every now and then, social media is used for good. No, really. It happens. Case in point: someone recently posted a photo showing several model years of the Chevrolet Corvette. Along with the photo, they asked, “Which is your favorite Corvette?”
More than 283,000 views, over 14,000 likes, and a couple of thousand re-posts and comments later, we have some interesting results. So, which Corvette is people’s favorite? That’s tough to answer.
First off, the post only listed certain years: 1957, 1967, 1978, 1988, 2002, 2012, 2016, and 2025. Not that it stopped people from naming other years, but it may have stopped some people from doing so.
Second, it wasn’t set up as a poll. So we are relying on comments and likes to make our determination. We will be discussing them (loosely) based on the number of likes a comment gets.
Which model year of the Chevrolet Corvette do people like the most?
One of the more popular responses was, “Unpopular opinion, but the 2016 spec is 100x better than the 2025.”
Another read, “The 67 has always been a favorite, but the 2025 would be a thrill to drive.”
A separate comment that read, “1967 435hp 427 duel side exhaust convertible with hard top option,” added to that year’s total. As did one that simply read, “67.” (That’s a running theme.)
The 1957 Corvette also received several likes. A photo of a black 2009 Z06 was also popular.
“78 was always a favorite of mine, although the 57 and 67 are badass,” someone else wrote and received numerous likes.
“Can not ever forget the 1969 L88….. true raw power,” read another comment people liked.
All in all, though, it appears to be a neck-and-neck battle between the 1957 and 1967 model years for which Chevrolet Corvette people love the most. Hard to argue.
