Ten states now have access to 710 hp in the form of a three-row SUV. The Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat was banned in states following California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations. But Stellantis has been working hard to ensure this SUV is available all across the country. 

The Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is available in 10 more states 

Remember when the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat was a limited edition for 2021? Drivers were very angry when the model continued returning each year. 

Then the supercharged HEMI V8 engine faced a few problems in 2026. The Durango Hellcat became banned in 17 states as of August 2025. Stellantis shared that the powerful SUV wouldn’t be available in states that followed CARB regulations. 

But now, due to changes and hard work to increase the Hellcat’s availability, it’s now being offered in 10 more states for 2026. Also, Dodge is working to make this powerful SUV available in every state by the end of the year. 

The states include: 

• Colorado 
• Connecticut
• Delaware 
• Maine 
• Maryland
• Minnsetoa
• Nevada 
• New Jersey 
• Rhode Island 
• Virginia  

According to Motor1, the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is still banned in: 

• New York 
• California 
• Massachusetts
• Washington 
• Oregon
• Vermont 
• Pennsylvania. 

Stellantis is putting in the work due to popular demand. Drivers can’t resist the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine that provides 710 hp and 645 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. 

But with great power comes great costs. The 2026 Durango SRt Hellcat has an MSRP of $79,995. The Hellcat Jailbreak increases the price to $83,580 and can get as high as $118,000 thanks to custom available options.
