This Chevrolet pickup truck driver perfectly illustrated how to be a complete jerk on the road. In the process he got himself arrested. But it turns out his road rage target wasn’t so innocent either.

Ryan Lee Huffman (25) of Eustace Texas was driving his Mustang along a rural road in Smith County, early one morning. He came up on a Chevrolet pickup truck towing a trailer. The truck driver, Samuel Stone (20) of Tyler got peeved at the Mustang. He repeatedly “brake checked” Huffman. That means he slammed on his brakes to force Huffman to slow down.

To his credit, Huffman waited for a legal passing zone. Then he pulled around the Chevrolet truck and accelerated to pass him. Stone wasn’t having it. He veered into Huffman’s lane, forcing him to crash into a creek.

At 7:45 AM, Smith County Sheriff’s officials arrived to investigate the Mustang. Luckily, Huffman had been able to escape from the partially submerged car. The police officers listened to the story and arrested Stone. But the drama doesn’t stop there.

When they looked up Huffman, they found he had a warrant out for his arrest in Van Zandt County, Texas. Why? Escaping from custody. So they booked him into the Smith County Jail. That should make for some awkward jailhouse dinnertime conversations.
