As a Driver’s Ed instructor in Detroit, Korey Batey has seen some things. But one incident on I-96 in East Detroit stands out as the absolute wildest. One man climbed out of the passenger side window of a sedan with a bottle of liquor. Then, sitting on the doorsill, he poured some alcohol into a cup a nearby SUV driver was holding out his own window.

Luckily for us, Batey drives Ray Ban video glasses to capture life on the road. He posts the craziest videos to his Instagram: Mr. Road Ready. Without further ado, here’s his video.

The stunt may have been amusing. But it was also incredibly dangerous. Both drivers slowed to a near stop. On the highway. If Batey hadn’t been paying attention, he could have rear-ended one or both of them. Batey later shared an important safety message on Fox 2 Detroit. “What I’d like to tell them is that it only takes one moment like that that could change your life forever.” You can see the full Fox 2 coverage in the video embedded below:
