Travis Payne hired a transport company to ship his Rolls-Royce Cullinan across the country. The luxury SUV vanished in transit. He assumed the car was gone for good. Then an ad for the Cullinan appeared at Alvarez Exotics, a dealership owned by the family of Mexican boxing star Canelo Alvarez. Even stranger, Payne believes a famous Mexican singer later ended up with the same vehicle.

In an interview with VinWiki, which is embedded below, Payne explained that he paid $500,000 for the Rolls-Royce while it was in Arizona. He then hired a transport company to deliver the SUV to his home in Georgia. When the shipment ran 24 hours late, Payne called the company and demanded answers. “Dude, where’s the car?”

A missing Cullinan resurfaces in Mexico

Payne soon learned that his Cullinan had disappeared. Several other exotic and luxury vehicles vanished at the same time. Then a friend sent him a startling discovery. Payne’s Rolls-Royce appeared in an online advertisement for sale in Mexico.

“I see that it was posted by an Alvarez Exotics logo on it, and Canelo’s logo, and he’s a famous boxer. The dealership is owned by his family, and then a while later the same page posts that the Cullinan was sold.” — Travis Payne, via VinWiki

At first, Alvarez Exotics answered Payne’s phone calls. Representatives insisted he had identified the wrong car. Payne said he confirmed the Cullinan was his by its highly customized interior, even though someone had changed the exterior color. Eventually, the dealership deleted the photos and stopped returning his calls. Payne assumed he would never see the Rolls-Royce again.

Then another post surfaced.

Mexican singer Luis Conriquez shared photos of what he described as his new Rolls-Royce. Payne believes the vehicle is his stolen Cullinan.

“It’s on his Instagram story right now, he was drinking champagne from the back of it last night after his concert,” he said. “And he’s got pictures of Canelo and his brother at the dealership, so obviously they all know each other. I tried to contact his lawyer, and I got no cooperation. All I got was, ‘How do we know it’s your car?’”
