Massachusetts Man Breaks Into Car Dealership to Steal Snowplows
Winters hit hard in the Northeast. Plowing becomes part of daily life. So when one Massachusetts man broke into a car dealership, he ignored the vehicles. Instead, he stole snowplow blades and mounting hardware.
The break-in occurred on Dunham Road in Billerica. The town sits about halfway between Boston and Lowell. After reviewing security footage, police quickly suspected 33-year-old Michael Sansevero, who lives nearby. Officers also identified a second suspect, a 31-year-old Billerica resident.
Snowplow theft leads to bigger bust
Police arrived at Sansevero’s home on Ox Road with a search warrant. Inside, officers recovered the stolen snowplow blades and mounts. They also seized five firearms, ammunition, bags containing fentanyl, prescription medication, and $2,000 in cash.
Officers found Sansevero hiding under a bed.
Authorities charged him with breaking and entering, larceny of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of firearms, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, and possession of Class A and Class E controlled substances.
