I’m no expert in crime. However, if you break the law, don’t brag about it online. A Chicago woman bragged about carjacking an Uber driver shortly after committing the crime. This made building a case against her a bit easier for the police.

Chicago woman brags online about carjacking an Uber driver

A Chicago woman identified as 33-year-old Montoya Perry was outside of the Loretto Hospital. The driver, 28-year-old Daniel Figueroa, was making a delivery when Perry and two others approached his vehicle.

His partner shares that he was delivering food for Uber Eats. He wanted to make a little extra money after finishing his shift at an Amazon warehouse nearby.

Hours later, she posted on Facebook, “The s— we had to do to get home is crazy, but we made it && if u is missing u car, come get it!! We don’t want it!!!”

To make matters worse. Figueroa lost his life during the incident. He grabbed one of the door handles  to try to foil the robbery and held on as Perry sped off into traffic. Then he fell and was run over by one of the tires.

Police officers tracked the vehicle to Perry’s home with license plate readers and arrested her a few hours later on the same day. She faces charges for murder and carjacking, but she smiled in her mug shot.

According to People, the post has been deleted. Also, Perry has quite the rap sheet. She was arrested two weeks earlier for driving with a suspended license, fleeing police, and obstruction as she pretended to be her sister.
