One full-size truck continues to celebrate its dominance as the best-selling vehicle of 2024. If you guessed that the best-selling truck is the Chevy Silverado or Ram 1500 then guess again. The crown belongs to the Ford F-150 for the 48th year in a row. 

The Ford F-150 remains as the best-selling truck 

Not only is the Ford F-150 the best-selling truck in America for 2024, but it’s the best-selling vehicle overall. It has ranked as the most popular truck for 48 years in a row and as the most popular vehicle for 43 years. 

Over 33 million F-150 trucks have been sold since 1977. This incredible victory comes as the F-150 prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025. 

According to Good Car Bad Car, the F-150 has sold 754,769 trucks in America between January and November 2024. 

This means that after December sales are added, it could have even better results. In 2023, the F-150 sold 759,789 models in America. 

Between January and September of 2024, The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 sold 412,397 trucks in America. It moved 555,148 models in 2023. 

Then the Ram 1500 sold 309,717 models in America between January and September 2024. It sold 539,477 trucks in 2023. The Toyota RAV4 is actually outselling this truck.
