Police Release 911 Audio, Security Video Showing Suspect in Home Robbery of Late NASCAR Driver Greg Biffle
Police have released 911 audio and security video from inside the home of late NASCAR driver Greg Biffle. The footage shows a person believed to be a burglary suspect. Thieves broke into and robbed Biffle’s home in Mooresville, North Carolina, just weeks after a fatal plane crash claimed his life and those of his wife, Cristina, and their two children.
According to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina, thieves broke into a safe in Biffle’s home, stole a backpack, $30,000 in cash, as well as some guns and NASCAR memorabilia. No one was in the home at the time of the burglary, but the police report lists Greg Biffle’s niece, Jordyn Biffle Carpenter, and Cristina’s mother, Cathy Rose Grossu.

“I’m at the house now, and it looks like someone tried to break in,” the woman said. “Yeah, someone tried to kick the doors in. It’s upstairs. It’s the doors on the top of the stairs, which is bizarre!”
