Goodness, today is already getting off to a wild start. Usually, you hear about rockets if someone mentions SpaceX, not cocaine. However, authorities found 400 lbs of cocaine wrapped in the company’s branding in a remote plane crash.

Police find 400 lbs of SpaceX-branded cocaine

I can’t tell you if Elon Musk is involved with flying cocaine around the world or not. But I do know that this situation involving $80 million worth of coke in a plane crash is a little suspicious.

Alagoas Military police shared that a single-engine plane crashed in a sugar field. Among the wreckage, there were 400 lbs of cocaine wrapped in packages wearing SpaceX branding.

The crash occurred near Coruripe, a coastal city in Brazil that’s about 300 miles north of Salvador. The incident occurred on a widely popular drug route.

Of course, anyone could print the logo to make it look like company property. But the plot thickens as the plane, or what’s left of it, is registered to the African nation of Zambia.

Elon Musk has been involved with business ventures in Zambia since the mid-1980s. I wasn’t alive then, but I hear it was a popular time for the illicit substance.

According to the NY Post, the pilot didn’t survive the crash, and our condolences go out to his loved ones. Firefighters found a Victorian Driver’s license belonging to 46-year-old Timothy J Clark of Melbourne.

Starlink and Tesla both operate in Australia. Plus, Brazil has Starlink. It might be difficult to find a country that Elon Musk isn’t involved with. Starlink is active in over 130 countries and territories. But things still seem fishy.
