Whoa, there are a few trucks that are clogging up the dealership lots. Dealers are desperate to move 2024 and 2025 models out of the way. As they make space for 2026 inventory, you could get a pretty solid deal on these pickups. 

Three trucks with leftover 2024 and 2025 inventory 

It might be an excellent time to snag one of three trucks with leftover inventory. According to iSeeCars, some vehicles have over 80% of leftover inventory. This is a lot compared to the average of 0.4% and 21.3% for the new 2024 and 2025 models. 

1. 2025 Ford Maverick 

Wait, what? How are there leftover Ford Maverick trucks? For years, this tiny truck has been sold out as people scramble to scoop them up. It sold 131,142 units. 

But gas and hybrid models have 78.9% of the leftover models. Is this truck starting to get too expensive for buyers? The average price is $34,549. When the Maverick debuted in 2021, it started at $19,995. 

2. 2025 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid 

The 2025 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid must not be doing as well as models with the traditional internal combustion engine. It has about $72.3% of leftover inventory with a high average price of $58,324. 

However, Toyota probably isn’t worried. The Tacoma sold 192,813 trucks in 2024, which left rivals in the dust. People might not trust the hybrid engine yet. Many drivers feel as if hybrid engines aren’t as reliable. 

3. 2025 Jeep Gladiator 

No surprise here for the 2025 Jeep Gladiator. This solid-axle off-roading truck has been struggling for a while now. It has about 66.3% of leftover inventory with an average price of $50,649. 

The Gladiator sold 42,125 models in 2024, falling pretty far behind. Perhaps adding new trim levels and the V8 HEMI engine will help it get moving again. Do I even dare to recommend bringing the diesel powertrain back?
