There’s an exciting change for the 2026 Jeep Wrangler. However, it might be hard to spot with the naked eye. But you will definitely want to take advantage of this upgrade. It will save you time and hassle, especially on the go.

What’s new for the 2026 Jeep Wrangler?

Drum roll, please! The 2026 Jeep Wrangler is officially easier to get naked. The most exciting upgrade is related to making the doors easier to remove.

In fact, now you don’t even need tools to get the job done. However, in older models, tools for removing the SUV’s doors are stored in the glove compartment. Plus, the exterior bolts are gone.

Drivers should know that there are no longer Torx bolts connecting the doors to the frame. They were replaced by doors hinged with a U-clip connected to the sliding bolt.

Simply pop the lower tab of the U-clip to open it and remove the bolt. Then disconnect the power contacts and unlock the canvas check strap. Next, lift the door away.

According to Stellantis, more exciting changes are on the way thanks to Operation Airdrop. Stellantis will be debuting 12 special edition Wrangler SUVs over the next year. The first model is the Jeep Wrangler Moab 392.

It pairs more luxury and off-roading capabilities as the 6.4-liter V8 engine cranks out 470-hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Previously, this engine was only available with the Rubicon 392 model.

Plus, a few limited-edition colors include Reign, Earl Grey, Tuscadero, Joose, and Goldilocks. Last but not least, the Willys two-door trim is available with steel bumpers and a front Warn winch.
