Sorry, the manual transmission is continuing its long, slow death in America. There are only two trucks available with a manual transmission in 2026. However, one of the models is extremely difficult to get with a shocking price tag.

Only 2 manual trucks are available for 2026

As most manual trucks are history, two models still cling to life for 2026. But the first option feels extremely limited. It’s the 2026 Yenko Chevrolet Silverado. This special edition Chevy truck is appealing with 1,000 hp.

The $89,995 package is added to the base model, which starts at $37,000, bringing the starting price to $127,000 or more. Only 50 models will be available. A six-speed manual transmission is paired with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine.

Other goodies include a lowered suspension, Brembo brake calipers, Nitto performance tires, a heavy-duty rear sway bar assembly, and unique badging.

Now, the more widely available manual truck is the 2026 Toyota Tacoma. The six-speed manual transmission is available with the standard i-FORCE gas engine. It’s not available with the hybrid engine.

According to Edmunds, when paired with the manual transmission, the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine generates 270 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. The manual setup is available with the SR, TRD Sport, and TRD Off-Road trim levels.

The SR Tacoma starts at $32,145, making it much more affordable than the Yenko Silverado. Plus, it should have a lot more availability!

You may have expected to see the Jeep Gladiator on this list as the Wrangler soldiers on with manual availability. However, it was discontinued in 2025.
